PADI Junior Open Water Diver

3 Days ( 10-14 years )

The PADI Junior Open Water Diver course is designed for children over 10 years old who want to learn to dive and get their first level of certification. When they reach the age of 15 they will automatically be promoted to PADI Open Water Divers. The PADI Junior Open Water Diver course is similar to the adult certification program and prepares children to become true divers when they grow up.

Junior Advanced Open Water Diver

2 Days ( 12-14 years )

Your young divers can continue the adventure and develop their skills by taking the Advanced Open Water Diver course with some depth limitations, a course designed for children who want to continue their training to feel more comfortable and expand their diving knowledge.

Junior Rescue Diver

3 Days ( 12-14 years )

The most fun diving course for kids of all PADI Junior Courses. Young divers from 12 to 14 years old can face challenges and in this course they will learn to master them. Upon completion, they become junior rescue divers.

  • PADI Certification
  • All park and porter fees
  • All the diving equipment
  • Weight belts, weights and tanks
  • Cookies, Fruits and drinking water on board
  • Tipical Lunch is provided courtesy when we finish the dives
  • The minimum age is 10 years old.
  • You need to show that you are medically fit for diving. To do that – Complete the PADI Medical Statement – if you answer “yes” to any of the questions, you will need to see a doctor before you will be able to enter into the water. If you can answer “no” to all of the questions then you are able to dive.
One suggestion

The purchase of an insurance DAN (Divers Alert Network) is highly recommended before arriving in Costa Rica. The cost of basic coverage is around 35 USD and it is worth having it in the case of unforeseen or accident.
